Hulu 同時字幕で英語学習 is a free Chrome add-on developed by niko. This add-on allows users to display English and Japanese subtitles simultaneously on Hulu for English language learning purposes. It offers features such as a 3-second rewind, repeat playback of dialogues, pause just before the end of a dialogue, and a pop-up dictionary. Users can also change the playback speed and navigate to previous or next dialogues.
The latest update, version 2.1.5, released on March 24, 2023, includes a transition from the deprecated Google sign-in to the new Google sign-in method. Previous updates have introduced features such as a subtitle list, favorite phrases and words, and multiple dictionary options for English words. The add-on also provides instructions on how to start the trial version, upgrade to the full version, troubleshoot problems, and cancel the subscription.
